Miło nam poinformować, że w dniach 29-31 stycznia 2005 r. gościliśmy u siebie założycielkę Stowarzyszenia Pływania Niemowląt w Szwecji - Ludmillę Rosengren. Jest ona właścicielką Szkoły Pływania Niemowląt Linnea od 1993 roku.

Ludmilla przeprowadziła dla nas kurs naświetlający aspekty pływania niemowląt w Szwecji. Uczestniczyli w nim wszyscy nasi instruktorzy, którzy otrzymali certyfikaty potwierdzające wiedzę w tym zakresie.

Zaprosiliśmy także Ludmillę na zajęcia prowadzone przez naszą Szkołę. Byliśmy ciekawi jej opinii. Oto list, jaki otrzymaliśmy.

In the end of January of 2005 I had the opportunity to visit Poland and the city of Lodz. I was invited to teach the Babyswim instructors of Wodnis Babyswim School, according to the plan of educating Babyswim instructors in Sweden. In Sweden we had Babyswim since 1979 and we have a well organised structure where the health government also has set up guide lines of how to practise baby swimming without any risks for the quality of the water and health of the children. I started work with children in the water in 1989. I was also the founder of the Babyswim Association in 1997. This association makes controls of Babyswim schools in Sweden. The control includes water quality, water temperature, hygienic aspects, number of participants, number of instructors, aim of the education, that the education is on the terms of the children, that the parents are active in the water, that the instructor has proper education and so on. This control is made every year. The Swedish Babyswim Association also makes approvals according to instructor courses.

The instructors of Wodnis Babyswim School have now taken the instructor course that is approved of the Swedish Babyswim Association.

I had the pleasure of observing Wodnis Babyswim school groups in the water both at Spadkowa and at Nowa Gdynia. I was very happily surprised of the well organised education of the families in the water. The groups are small and there are at least two instructors to guide the parents and children. The children were very active in the water and comparing to many Swedish Babyswim schools, also very capable of moving in the water. Both parents and children seem to have a very nice time in the water at the same time.

The manager of the school; Iwona Turant, is very professional and I can recommend all parents to take their children to babyswimming at Wodnis swim school.
